Finaly some help have been found. The area of help gotten is on the graphics front.

The user Stev3-Designs have joined our team and have contributed good in the short period of time. We have gotten some new simple-items with higher quality then the original which suits the mod and the game alot better.

We are still in search of more programming help to get the bugs/issues fixed:
LOOK HERE

On the mapping front Mnemjc have made a new GPM duel map that highlights the idtech 4's possibilities. The combination of both style and perfomance is just sweet. Screenshots will come in the upcomming days.

Thanks to sikkpin we have gotten a bit more pointers and help on the shader front to highlight the graphics but also fix the broken ambient light. It now hits the texture properly an lit the area much better. Performance wise it's a really good gain for all parts.

Hey, I was wondering if your release dates on moddb were actually april fools jokes? Or did something happen that pushed a release date back to "TBD?"

Either way, you still had my hopes up.

We had some drawbacks and issues in our team which have made us push the release date. The original plan was to release it as stated but sadly things changed that.

When we have solved this we will do a proper release as stated before.

Cool Zhakal, thanks for the feedback.

All I know is that I'm glad you guys are still actively working on this project. Much respect to you all for not having it die out.

Thanks, we are trying our best to keep it alive. We do have some problems now and then with progress but this isn't unfamiliar in development teams.

The good thing here is that we have the will to push it to a release state and a lot of ideas of how to make it into a great release in our eyes. Hopefully a release will bring some more interest back into Quake 4.

In my eyes Quake 4 has a lot more to bring to the public and it's time isn't over yet. This is mainly the reason why we keep on going.

"This is mainly the reason why we keep on going." This and the good amount of people who are interested in this, are the main reasons for me at least

Thanks alot cybo
